Contributions are essential for non-profit sports organizations to run efficiently; therefore, we offer sponsor opportunities to local businesses. The Office of the Sheriff is a full service law enforcement agency functioning 24-7. The office is responsible for providing security for the courts and its eight judges. The Sheriff has created a Junior Deputy Program to expose students to the risks of breaking the law. The office provides the D.A.R.E. program in the Scranton schools to teach students the dangers of drug abuse.
